Location

The Temple Point Resort is situated 120km north of Mombasa with a beautiful view of the Mida Creek lagoon. In only 1.5h our own shuttle service will take you from the Moi International Airport in Mombasa directly to the hotel. You will find additional shopping possibilities, restaurants, bars, discos, a bank, an ATM and the best ice cream parlour of East Africa in the neighbouring fishing village of Watamu. We will gladly provide a bicycle for you to go to Watamu on your own or accompanied by our animations team. Only a 20 minute drive away, you can also visit the culturally appealing Swahili town of Malindi twice per week with our hotel shuttle service.

Climate

Generally hot, 22c 30c (72f 87f) with about 70% humidity tempered by the SE monsoon trade wind, the Kaskazi from April September and bringing the long rains from April to June and gentler Kuzi (NE Monsoon) October March, that brings the short rains in end of November. The Coastal belt usually receives between 6 9 hours of sunshine daily.
