Sentrim Amboseli

Location

The main road into the Park from Nairobi is via Emali (228 km) on the Nairobi - Mombasa road. The other road is via Namanga (240 km) on the Nairobi - Arusha road. It takes approximately 4 hours by road to reach Sentrim Amboseli from Nairobi and 50 minutes by air. The camp is 15 km from the airstrip. Access from Mombasa is on the Mombasa - Nairobi highway via Emali to Kimana gate.

Climate

Generally hot and dry fanned by a cool breeze. Long rains are anticipated from mid April to May and the short rains from November to early December. Minimum temperature of 18°C and maximum of 33°C
